This year has flown by so far. Mitch started the Police Academy on January 10th, going to class M-F from 6-10 p.m., and recently graduated July 31st. I was so worried that those 7 months were going to be the longest and loneliest months ever. But they weren't so bad after all. I couldn't tell ya what I did every night but I never really got bored. I spent a lot of my time at my parents house, some nights I did homework if I had it, and other nights-which obviously weren't very often-I blogged. Ok, so maybe Facebook and the Bachelorette took up a good chunk of the time as well.
I had the opportunity to go watch Mitch and his class run the mile and a half a couple of times. I think it made Mitch run faster when I was there ;)
It scares me to think that Mitch will be out there putting his life in danger while he is on duty. But I know that this is what he wants to do and I support him for that. I know he will be an awesome police officer.
This is the only picture I have of Mitch in his academy uniform. He rode his motorcycle to Hurricane most of the nights.

Why isn't that first picture his profile picture on facebook?? It's totally him. ;)
